Home & Garden Design

I design gardens and interior spaces. I apply a naturalistic approach in my design work and a slowed down take on the creative process. I aim to create bridges between our interior spaces and those of the natural world so that home spills beyond the vertical walls of our dwellings. With a strong focus on centering the soil we are on, I prioritize makers, materials, and species native to place. This translates into working with furniture makers using local woods, growers focused on regionally appropriate plant species, and local craftspeople using age-old techniques. My garden designs celebrate the rewilding of our outdoor spaces, turning lawns to meadows, and creating environments that help us rediscover ourselves. Less is more in the interior spaces I create – heritage quality, natural materials, and the warmth that comes when patina takes center stage.

Whether in the home or garden, I aim to both empower my clients to see good design as they move through the day and to see their place within, not separate from, the natural world. Wherever we are creating, it is my belief that beauty is a reflection of our devotion.
